Book the Trial, Not Just the Costume
The single most common arangetram problem we see is a costume collected the day before that turns out to bind in araimandi. Come in two to three weeks ahead, put it on, and do a few adaptavus in it. Anything that needs adjusting, we still have time to fix.
Costume, Jewellery, or Both
Many dancers have a costume stitched but no jewellery, or inherit jewellery and need only the costume. Both halves rent separately. Tell us what you already have so you are not paying twice.
What to Bring to the Fitting
Bring the dancer, the salangai if you own them, and any jewellery you plan to use. If a specific colour has been chosen with your guru, tell us before the visit so we can pull options in that family rather than starting from scratch.
Booking Around the Season
Arangetram season in Kerala clusters heavily around school holidays and auspicious dates. If your date falls in a busy window, reserve as soon as it is fixed — the full sets with matching jewellery are the first to go.
